“I speak to a real mix of people in this role – land agents, developers, homeowners, planning consultants – and no two conversations are the same. I like that. You learn something about how different people see the same piece of land, and it keeps the job interesting.

There’s a strong social side to working here too,  it doesn’t feel like a big, faceless company, more like a team that actually knows each other.

But what I value most is knowing the work has a real, local impact. Nutrient Neutrality isn’t an abstract idea to me, it’s protecting rivers and land in this region, for people who live here. Being part of that, even from behind a desk, means something.”

“No two days look the same in this job. One morning I’m writing site content, and by the afternoon I’m deep in a campaign or building case studies for Consulting. Four divisions means four different audiences, and I’m genuinely learning something new about the industry most weeks.

What’s struck me most is the agility. If something isn’t working, we change it – there’s no six-month approval chain to get through, which means the work I do actually gets used rather than sitting in a drawer.

And it’s the people, there’s a genuine passion for getting things right here. That’s contagious, and it has made this one of the most interesting & rewarding roles I’ve had.”
