Overview
Following Devonshire Homes’ acquisition of a site near Westward Ho! and Saunton Sands, WCI Consulting Engineers was briefed to provide full technical design of the foul and surface water drainage, highways and external works – within tight deadlines to meet an already committed construction programme.
The Challenge
The project encompassed the full suite of S38 highways adoption, S102/104 drainage adoptions and construction-phase variations – requiring rigorous multi-discipline coordination to keep pace with the developer’s programme.
