Developers building new homes in the Somerset Levels and Moors Ramsar catchment must offset the phosphate impact of their development. They do this by purchasing credits generated when older, polluting septic tanks are replaced with high-performance treatment plants. The credit value funds your upgrade and WCI’s costs – at no charge to you.
