Rising main to the gravity mains sewer
Overview
Dainton Park Golf Club needed a new pumping station to receive drainage from the club house and connect to the mains sewer 500 metres away, with capacity to accommodate future lodge connections to the south.
The Challenge
The existing pump chamber was being decommissioned and the drainage rerouted. Works needed to be sequenced to maintain foul drainage and full club facility use at all times.
The WCI Solution
WCI Water & Wastewater Engineers designed and installed a new pumping station receiving all gravity flows from the club house, with new foul drains from the main building and PV shed, decommissioning of the old pump chamber, and a rising main connecting to the existing gravity sewer 500m away.
The Outcome
Dainton Park Golf Club is connected directly to the mains sewer with a reliable, adoptable-standard pump station and no disruption to members during the works.
