Unbeknown to the owners of Apple Tree Cottage, the property’s discharge from their septic tank was not compliant with the latest regulations. WCI were able to identify the issue on inspection and offer an effective solution to address this and upgrade the system. The owners went on to engage WCI to upgrade the septic tank to a BS EN 12566 GRAF package sewage treatment. The property now has a fully functional, compliant system which has facilitated the sale of the property.

WCI worked closely with the owners to ensure the new sewage treatment plant was installed within a given time frame and with minimal disruption. The site was left in an excellent condition to ensure the property looked its best for the prospective buyer. The client and WCI Engineers worked well together communicating daily so any questions could be answered quickly and the installation timeframe could be met.
Compliance to the Environment Agency General Binding Rules
A GRAF one2clean sewage treatment plant was selected for its impressive treatment quality ensuring that the discharge met the current Building Regulations and Environment Agency General Binding Rules.
The GRAF system was easy to install, was competitively priced and uses around 50% less energy compared to some other systems.
Following the successful installation, the new owner was guided through the operation of the system and provided with a WCI Completion Pack. The WCI Completion Pack contains all relevant documents pertaining to the installation, its compliance, and ongoing service and maintenance.
