Location: Taunton, Somerset
Contract: Full-time (40 hours a week)
Salary: Circa £50,000 DOE
WCI is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to join our team. This is a pivotal role within the business, overseeing the accurate procurement of goods and materials, supply management, fleet and sub contractor management and managing health and safety within the company.
This is a full time permanent position with a salary of circa £50,000 depending on background and experience.
The role:
- Oversee the procurement through Purchase Orders, goods received and supply management
- Health and Safety – manage risk assessments, policies and procedures and management of accident book
- Management and deployment of resource- process and resource, construction phase plans
- Fleet and sub contractor management – ensuring fleet vehicles are up to date on MOTs, managing a portfolio of sub contractors, managing commercial arrangements and ensuring a high standard of quality is upheld
- Broader Facilities Management – project management of office moves, procurement, managing of staff and training matrices
