What does an upgrade entail?

Before installing a sewage treatment plant we’ll survey your property and design a system that is not only compliant with General Binding Rules, but also works for you as a homeowner. Together we’ll work out how we’ll access your property and where to site the sewage treatment plant. We won’t cut corners on any upgrade to rush through a list!

The Works

When it comes to the installation itself, we will bring in excavators and there will be a bit of noise – but don’t worry, it’ll be temporary and we’ll keep it to a minimum.  Imagine digging a hole big enough to bury a family car and you’ll be thinking along the right lines. We’ll arrange our own welfare facilities (portaloo etc) so we won’t require access to your house except for making electrical connections and testing. You’re not required to be present during the installation works but if you are at home, fret not as you will be able to use toilets and drains throughout the work.

The Sewage Treatment Plant

We will be installing a GRAFUK one2clean sewage treatment plant. This system has been chosen primarily for its superior discharge quality – particularly with regards to the removal of phosphates – as well as its reliability and low running costs.

The lid of the GRAF UK one2clean treatment plant sits perfectly flush with the ground. The air blower and vent will be installed discreetly against an outbuilding, hedge line or fence.

The Reinstatement

We pride ourselves on leaving your garden in at least as good a condition as we found it – or better!
