Prior to the property’s purchase a compliance survey was undertaken on the advice of the local building surveyor and the purchaser’s solicitor.
A cost-effective package sewage treatment plant
The Home Buyers Compliance Survey found that the site was served by an aged septic tank and drainage field. The drainage field had failed, and wastewater was backing up through the system.
The survey concluded that the available garden area was unsuitable for the installation of a new Building Control compliant drainage field to be fitted due to boggy ground, topography and access. A cost-effective replacement BS EN 12566 package sewage treatment plant was installed with a discharge to a seasonal ditch under a bespoke Environment Agency Permit.
Supported with a comprehensive completion pack
Following the successful installation, the new owner was guided through the operation of the system on site which was followed up with a WCI Completion Pack. The WCI Completion Pack contains all relevant documents pertaining to the installation, its compliance and ongoing service and maintenance including electrical and Building Control completion certificates, a Dos and Don’ts, a Service Proposal, as built drawing, Operation Manuals, PIA certificates and warranty documentation.
