WCI was approached by the Dainton Park Golf Club to design and install a replacement of the existing pump station to permit expansion of the Club House and to receive the increased foul flows associated with the planned expansion.
The proposal solution was to design and install a new pumping station to receive gravity flows from the Club House and also permit future connection of possible lodges to the south of the Club House. The new pumping station was to connect to the existing rising main which discharges to a mains gravity sewer some 500m from the Club House.
The installation works included the laying of new foul drain from the main building, decommissioning the existing pump chamber and the laying of a new foul drain from the PV-shed. The works were undertaken to allow for continuation of use of the foul drains, maintaining use of the facilities and minimizing the impact on the club’s members.
