Current Vacancies

WCI is a recognised expert in the UK wastewater industry.  We combine consulting engineering services with full turnkey installation and maintenance  to provide a complete ‘design and build’ service to domestic and commercial clients.

With ambitious plans to grow into an expanding market, we are looking for individuals with the skills and enthusiasm to join our team.  We have the following opportunities available but are always willing to hear from interested candidates whatever your background.

Service Engineer

We are inviting applications from field service engineers  to join our Engineering Services Division who have a basic electrical mechanical background and who live within 60mins of our offices.

The primary function of the role will be to provide preventative and reactive service maintenance to a range of sewage treatment and potable water systems, commissioning of newly installed systems and performance monitoring of these systems.

The role requires that the candidate will work independently in largely rural locations with occasions to work within a small team.  The candidate will therefore have primary responsibility for the quality and execution of their work.

Appraisals Engineer

We are inviting applications from prospective appraisals engineers to join our Construction Division who have a background in the water industry, civil engineering, wastewater engineering, drainage or construction and who live or would like to live within 45mins of our offices.

As an experienced engineer, the primary function of the role will be to manage wastewater engineering projects from start to finish.  This means devising solutions for the processing of domestic sewage and surface water management for domestic and commercial applications through to construction.

The role requires that the candidate be both field engineer and design engineer with good problem-solving and numerical capabilities with a high level of literacy.

Junior Engineer

We are inviting applications from drainage engineers to join our Consulting Engineering Division who live within 60mins of our offices.

The role will require the successful candidate to support the development of outline and detailed design solutions for a wide range of surface and sewage management schemes with a particular focus on SuDS, flood risk assessment and wastewater treatment or pumping stations.
